Google Adsesne - Which ad is good?

Im new to Google Ansesne. Which ad is good, Image, Url with desc set or Link Set?

all google ads are good but it depends on where you place the ads.

like:
put link ad (728x15) just below navigation bar will have more hits.

or 300x250 ad spots in content rich places may get more hits.

or ads at end of the article/post, these ads will give user alternate option before closing your site.

If there are too many ads on site then chances of losing visitor are also high because user may think it is spam site.

place every unit on your site with some thoughts. play around color combination, ad placement etc until you start generating good revenue.
